How to keep paint from drying out
We all know that feeling when you start a project only to find out that your paint has dried out. It’s frustrating, and it can set you back hours or even days. But there are ways to prevent this from happening.
Here are our top tips:
1. Store your paint in a cool, dry place. Heat and humidity can cause paint to dry out, so avoid storing it in places like the attic or garage.
2. Check the expiration date. All paint has an expiration date, and once it’s expired, it’s more likely to dry out.
3. tightly closed when not in use. This will prevent air from getting in and drying out the paint.
4. Add a few drops of water if the paint is starting to dry out. This will re-hydrate the paint and make it easier to work with.
5. Use a humidifier in your workspace. This will help to keep the air moist, which will prevent the paint from drying out.
